One woman who reviewed the onion buns said she used fresh mashed potatoes instead of the flakes but they were almost too moist. You probably did not do anything wrong with your apple pie bread, many recipes just don't work. Was it too wet perhaps? Remember, humidity differs everywhere. Out west I never had a problem with dryness because it's like a rain forest. It's been wonderful for our busy family. I love to put a loaf in before we run errands and come home to the smell of fresh bread :)<br /><br />I'm so flattered you enjoyed my blog as yours is so lovely.
